• Indoor Anchor A1102P

The UWB real-time location system is a TDOA location system using UWB wireless communication technology, with a location accuracy of about 30~50cm.

Both Anchors, A1102P and A1106P, are ceiling-mounted and are usually used indoors. The power supply methods are all POE power supply.

The anchor can be configured as a location anchor or clock source. When configured as a anchor, it is responsible for receiving the UWB location signal sent by the tag and the clock synchronization signal sent by the clock source; when configured as a clock source, it periodically sends the clock synchronization signal. The latest version of the firmware allows the anchor to function as a normal anchor and clock source at the same time.

A1102P is a single network port anchor, connected to the POE switch through a network cable.

    Main features:

    1. As a UWB location anchor, receive UWB location signals sent by tags
    2. As a UWB clock source, regularly send clock synchronization signals to keep the clocks of anchors in the area consistent
    3. Use POE power supply, no need to provide additional power supply
    4. The IP address can be specified or automatically assigned through DHCP.
    5. Automatic discovery by location engine.
    6. Each anchor has an EUI64 ID that complies with the EUI specification.
    7. The clock synchronization signal sending interval is configurable
    8. The PAN ID can be configured to filter irrelevant UWB packets.
    9. The clock can be synchronized with up to 5 clock sources for location.
    10. The preamble length/PRF/PAC of UWB communication data packets can be configured.
    11. The anchor firmware can be upgraded.

A1106P is a dual network port anchor with built-in network switch chip and POE power supply/power receiving chip. One network port is connected to the POE switch, and the other network port is connected to other lower-level anchors. Up to 6 anchors can be connected in series.

    Main features

    1. As a UWB location anchor, receive UWB location signals sent by tags
    2. As a UWB clock source, regularly send clock synchronization signals to keep the clocks of anchors in the area consistent
    3. Use POE power supply, no need to provide additional power supply
    4. A1106P provides another network port to supply power to other network devices and provide network access.
    5. The IP address can be specified or automatically assigned through DHCP.
    6. Automatic discovery by the location engine.
    7. Each anchor has an EUI64 ID that complies with the EUI specification.
    8. The clock synchronization signal sending interval is configurable
    9. The PAN ID can be configured to filter irrelevant UWB data packets
    10. The clock can be synchronized with up to 5 positioned clock sources
    11. The preamble length/PRF/PAC of UWB communication data packets can be configured, etc.
    12. anchor firmware can be upgraded

  • Name-Card Style Tag T1201C

Our mass-produced location tags are name-card style and use DW1000 as the UWB transceiver. In the early stage, the DWM1000 module was used, and in the later stage, the self-designed UWB module was used. Some models also added LNA/PA to increase the location range.

Use STM32F103RBT6 as the main control MCU. Our initial purchase price for this chip was about 12 yuan to 14 yuan, and later it rose to 180 yuan per piece. It was really crazy and made us very passive. However, it later fell back.

The power supply uses an 800mah lithium battery as the power source, and uses a USB interface for charging, which also serves as the tag configuration interface.

There is an MPU6050 three-dimensional accelerometer chip designed on the tag. During mass production, it was found that the effect was not very great, and this chip was not attached in the later production.

There are 2 LEDs designed on the tag, one red and one green.

There is a button designed on the tag, which can be used for alarm purposes. Specific uses require server-side design. The firmware design can support multiple buttons, and later OEM customers need to add other functions (such as anti-tampering, etc.).
